The ships themselves are things of beauty . Magnificent in every detail and larger than ever in history, the ships are everything you have heard, and more. In the early days cruising ships cost about $50 million each. Today the ships are all newly constructed at costs exceeding $800 million!

The ports of call are also a reason to cruise. The ability to visit three, four or even five exotic destinations in one short week is something that only cruising can achieve with comfort and convenience.

But enough about the lure of the sea. There are many advantages to holding your group function on a cruise ship. There are also many differences between a land-based event and one held on the high sea. We have attempted to identify both of these in some detail for you.
