ROTORUA

Shuttle Bus

To help you get around all the optional tour attractions a special shuttle bus will operate for this group only.

The shuttle bus will travel around the different attractions plus your lodge picking up/dropping off passengers during the day at arranged timings.

Whakarewarewa - the thermal village

Discover and meet the people of Tuhourangi/Ngati Wahiao and experience a people who have come to live in harmony amidst this unique environment of geothermal wonders.

See firsthand the geothermal activity and how it is used in everyday life with hot springs and steam vents used for cooking (natural cooktops and ovens) and the natural mineral waters used for communal bathing.

Mingle with the villagers who are always delighted to share their knowledge and pastimes within the Whakarewarewa Village, the place they call home.

Duck Tours

Skyline Skyrides Rotorua

Perfect for the entire family, the 900 metre gondola cableway is set high on the side of Mt Ngongotaha with 180 degree views of the city, Lake Rotorua & surrounding hinterlands. Summit facilities include a café for casual dining plus the Cableway Restaurant & Bar. The extremely popular Luge is a funfilled gravity ride aboard a 3 wheel cart with 3 sealed tracks to choose from. The unique braking design means the driver is always in control. Once is never enough! Open from 9am until 6pm during winter and 9am until 8pm during summer for luge rides. Evening dining from 5.30pm until late.

Agrodome

The Agrodome is situated on a 160 hectare sheep and beef farm just north of Rotorua city. The 1 hour world famous sheep show is both entertaining and informative. Held in a specially designed auditorium, the show includes 19 sheep breeds & features sheep shearing & sheepdog demonstrations, cow milking, bottle feed lambs and an exciting sheep auction. Audience participation is a major part of the show. Shows commence daily at 9.30am, 11.00am & 2.30pm. The very popular 1 hour Farm Tours depart after each sheep show. Visitors explore the farm aboard tractor drawn trailers. Includes an informative commentary plus an opportunity to walk amongst the animals and feed sheep, cattle, deer, alpaca, ostrich & emus by hand. Included in the tour is a visit to the 100% pure organic New Zealand orchard which produces kiwifruit, olives, feijoas and apples. Visitors can sample kiwifruit wine and honey. Rainbow Springs & Kiwi Encounter


Ideal for the whole family, take a stroll amongst giant redwoods, native bush and tree ferns to marvel at the trout-filled, crystalclear ponds as over 2 million litres of pure fresh water wells up naturally into Rainbow Springs each day. The International Antarctic Centre

Christchurch Tram & Gondola Combo


A truly unique experience combining two of Christchurch’s icon attractions for a discounted rate. The Tramway Experience offers a unique tour of the central city. Tram Drivers provide a live entertaining commentary, identifying points of interest and places to shop and eat. Your combo ticket allows you to ride the tram for one full day, hopping on and off at leisure, to explore the “must see” attractions. The Gondola gently lifts visitors almost 500 metres above sea level to enjoy spectacular 360-degree views across Christchurch, the Canterbury Plains, Southern Alps, Banks Peninsula and Pacific Ocean.
