Seekers New Zealand can take care of all necessary Student Visa and Student Permit requirements as part of the application process. Depending on your country of origin this part of the process will cost between $80NZD and $250NZD. This is a vital part of the application process, and as such, provided that the applicant meets New Zealand Immigration Service (NZIS) requirements, we will go to the greatest lengths possible to ensure that a Student Visa and Permit is granted.

In order for a Student Visa and Permit to be granted, the applicant must fulfil a number of requirements.
A Police clearance certificate must be obtained from the district police headquarters, confirming that the applicant does not have a criminal record. The Police Clearance certificate cannot be more than 6 months old at the commencement of the application. Any costs involved in obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate are the responsibility of the applicant, and are not part of Seekers New Zealand service fee.

The student must complete a Medical and Chest X-ray examination by a recognized practitioner. The costs of any medical examinations are the responsibility of the applicant, and are not part of Seekers New Zealand service fee.

The student must convince NZIS that they have sufficient funds to support their stay in New Zealand. The applicant must either provide bank statements showing that they have at least $10,000NZD available, as well as enough funds for a return ticket, or they must allocate a sponsor who has these funds available for the purpose of sponsoring the applicant during their stay in New Zealand.

School or University fees must be paid in full in order to obtain a Student Visa and Permit. In other words, Seekers New Zealand will only lodge the Visa and Permit application after an offer of place has been given from the education provider.
